Hubby's co-worker saw one of my cakes from last month (which I have yet to post! LOL) and asked him for one for his wife.  He requested a red velvet cake for his wife who apparently hasn't had a birthday cake  in a few years. Hopefully this cake will change that and he will continue to get her one every year from now on!

Now the dilemma.......... how to make a cake for someone I have never met? and especially a cream cheese frosting one?  Well I thought, what kind of cake I would like to receive? something sweet, dainty and elegant. That's it! A rosette cake!

I hope the birthday lady enjoys her cake as much as I enjoyed making it!
