A Fiesta Baby Shower!

I had a request for a baby shower cake with a Mexican theme, perfect! No need to research! LOL  When I got the request I was actually in Los Angeles visiting family, so while I there I grabbed a couple of candies. My favorite was the tamale looking candy, the candy was inside and the outside was wrapped in a corn husk just like a real tamale.

The baby is made with candy melts, and the little blanket is candy clay with frosting on top!

I was going through all my photos and realized I have a couple of cakes that I made before I started this blog.  A couple of them bring back so many great memories, like my bff's baby shower for baby V, my hubby and I's 8th year anniversary, and even my baby's 1st birthday. That's the great thing about pictures, they can always bring back amazing feelings.
